There is never enough wine!
Another famous region with wine festivals is Palkonya. Here you will feel like on a real wine tasting tour. As soon as you enter this village, you will have a chance to buy a “Cultural Village tasting glass” for 1,500 HUF, which equals approximately to 5 dollars and you are able to have 10 glasses of different wines. Where else can you find such a price for 10 glasses with a great wine quality, don't forget!

The family wineries are examined before the openings for the wine quality and technologies used. While you are walking down the street you have plenty of wineries open and can have a glass of any wine you like. Keep in mind that wine portions in Hungary are very different to other wine tasting programs. If you expect to have a tiny bit on the bottom of your glass – forget about it. Tasting in Hungary means half a glass. Be careful you have 10 more glasses ahead of you. Don't forget to grab some snack on the road to keep you alive! Moreover the festivities are going to be accompanied with live music and what I really love about it – people are not shy to lie down next to the cellars in special spots, like having a picnic: what can be better than a great glass of wine, delicious food and fantastic weather.
