From the ninth century, millions of pilgrims were walking along the Camino de Santiago route which length is 900 km, making a pilgrimage to the shrine. The main attractions in Santiago de Compostela are concentrated exactly along the pilgrim route, but the north-western Spanish city has much more interesting things to offer travelers.
