40 km south of Phan Thiet there is a Buddhist center, and near it - the biggest in Vietnam 49-meter high statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, made of white stone. The main food market of the resort is not far from Le Hong Phong river bridge. There you can buy or taste national specialties, vegetables, exotic fruits, a variety of sweets and much more. It is worth looking in the fish section, which supply fresh goods from the nearest port.
