This is a place of great beaches and fantastic landscapes. Here there is pure azure sea, spectacular cliffs and lots of hiding places for a peaceful and secluded holiday. The main resort is Ao Nang Beach, which is considered to be the capital of Krabi and transit point on the way to the pretty islands of the Andaman Sea. It is beautiful, but crowded, so if you want a change of scenery, you can take a boat to get to the neighboring bays Ton Sai and Railey.

It is the greenest island in Thailand, more than 80% of the territory is covered by jungle. National Park status has helped to save Koh Chang rare species of animals and plants.
