Cyprus was a British colony eight decades (until 1960). In hotels, restaurants, shops and beaches English speech sounds almost all the time, and sometimes it's a real “royal” British English - because Cyprus is still home to many Britons. In other words, practice English on the island can not only be within the walls of language schools, but also in any other locations, participating in excursions, sunbathing on the beach and chatting with foreign tourists in local bars.
It's cheaper than in Malta and in the UK
