Their story began in 1971 during the Vietnam War: the village where they lived (he, his wife and four children) was bombed, as a result of his wife and two older children were killed, and his father disappeared in the jungle with a year-old child. The fourth child, born shortly before the death of the mother, saved one of his relatives.
