At the time of the construction of the pier I had a white color, but on the day of its opening I it "dressed" in a bright orange colour. This unique pier remained open for 16 days, until the 3rd July in 2016. It was planned that during this period of time it can take more than half a million visitors.
To make the orange fabric, the artist invited the German team of seamstresses and provided them with specially made sewing machines. All the time, while the pier was opened to the public, more than 150 rescuers provided security for his passage.
The total cost of the project amounted to € 15 million. It was financed solely at the expense of the artist. According to him, this project - is a project of his life.
