Raja Ampat is a group of incredibly beautiful big and small islets, most of which are with glossy images of magazines with clear turquoise water and absence of any trace of civilization.

But even this is not the most important in the case of Raja Ampat, the most interesting is the fact that on these Islands it is possible to meet 75% of all possible inhabitants of the coral world - underwater world that makes Raja Ampat one of the most unique and richest places in terms of underwater flora and fauna, and therefore one of the most beautiful places in the world for diving. Experienced divers have long been chosen Raja Ampat, so to reach it - is not a big problem, though, it takes time, but there are dive centers that will help in organizing the trip.

A few large Islands and over a thousand small Islands included in the archipelago of Raja Ampat are located in the southwest of the Indonesian province of West Papua. Indonesian Raja Ampat means “Four kings”, and the archipelago consists of four large Islands — Misool, Salawati, Batanta, Waigeo and one small — Kofiau.

About 1300 different fish and over 500 species of coral, nearly 700 different molluscs: diversity of marine life will amaze anyone, even a very experienced diver. They say that the day of diving you can see up to 200 different specimens of flora and fauna! And the nature of the island is untouched by civilization and tourism, so that anyone who visited these places will be able to feel himself in this wild world and to touch the virgin nature. Diving in Raja Ampat is possible throughout the year in Indonesia as warmness is all year round, and the water temperature all the time is in the range of 28-30 degrees. However, the best time is the period from October to December.
