During the Hajj in the valley there are over 100,000 air-conditioned tents, which can accommodate more than 3 million pilgrims! The tent is a kind of tent 8 by 8 meters made of fiberglass coated with Teflon. Such materials are selected not only because they are designed to prevent the possibility of fire.
Earlier tents were made of cotton, but when in 1997 suddenly appeared a fire, it killed 350 pilgrims.
The whole camp is divided into several groups depending on the country. The tents have a unique number and color. Each group has its own attached kitchen, bathroom and sanitary facilities.
